MAYBE YOU CAN NAME HIM TOO?

OK, this is another photo from my endless collection (nobody honours me, let me do it myself!). This skeleton-style 16 years old kid had great future as a player in front of him. He was a member of one of the Soviet teams which is well remembered in Canada due to it's huge damage done here many years ago. I won't tell you any more but one fact - unfortunately he is not any longer with us...
HIS NAME IS...

  3. Dear HW
This photo was taken by me in Leningrad at SKA training ice - next to "Yubileinyi" arena (actually, the same building)

  5. Was away for a few days. My most vivid memory of Drozdetsky: Nov 3, 1978, Dynamo Riga is playing CSKA in Riga, I'm actually at the game. At some point in 2nd or 3rd period, Drozdetsky gets a penalty, argues with a referee who adds on a 10 minute misconduct. At this point Drozdetsky completely loses it, and points his stick right at the referee's face with the stick blade no more than few centimeters from the face (almost like Paul Parise during SS-72). I was sitting pretty close to the spot and had a very good view. Drozdetsky gets a game misconduct and has to be restrained by his teammates from any further damage. Oddly enough, he didn't get penalized much for that (maybe just a short suspension). Hatulev probably would've been banned for life for something like that.
